Hosting my first event with Luxury Promise

You all know by now my love for preloved designer bags & beautiful cost effective diamond rings (still a magpie) and my ongoing search for the best places to buy bags and bling. Well stop the press this time I have come up trumps. If this was a game of cards I would have a full house. Yes you heard that right I am in Love and it’s name is Luxury Promise….. Let’s start with the Luxury Promises founder. What do you get when you mix brains beauty and style you get Sabrina Sadiq the woman behind Luxury Promise the most (please excuse the pun) promising luxury brand to join the market in recent years.  “Luxury is a lifestyle” Said Sabrina at our first meeting back in March & I couldn’t agree more. It’s not just about the clothes we wear it’s not just about the bags we hold or the diamonds we adore, it’s everything skincare, humility and kindness. Luxury doesn’t need to cost the earth it’s about a state of mind and that is exactly what sets LP apart from all its competitors. No before you wonder this is not a sponsored post, I value my integrity far to much to write an article singing the praises of a company and not genuinely believe in them.  Ok so we have got that out of the way. Now on to why I love Luxury Promise. I love LP because not only do they source the most beautiful bags but they also design bespoke beautiful diamond jewellery. You might remember one of my first blog posts which featured LP and their event at the pretty Elan Cafe in Knightsbridge. What you might not know is that I rocked up to the Elan cafe in a full on winter coat thick wool jumper scarf and winter boots a hot sweaty mess! (I really am not exaggerating I was incredibly hot nervous and spent the first five minutes after I arrived mopping my sweaty face sorry for the TMI)  they didn’t as I thought they might turn me away. In fact they made me feel welcome the whole girl gang behind LP. Since I wrote that article I have kept in contact with Sabrina and religiously stalked the LP website on a nearly daily basis. Any luxury addict like me will know that buying preloved can at times come with a warning. There are so many companies out there that have tainted the preloved market marking it as dangerous and taking away that enjoyment of find a bag from a collection long gone by. I can not express how relieved I am to have discovered LP and Sabrina who is genuinely really really lovely. She is also one of the leading experts in Hermes authentication and has trained some of the biggest pre-loved companies out there. One of which I have written about previously on this blog. And another I have purchased bags from in the past too.

Sabrina approached me in April of this year to host her App launch event which if you follow me on Instagram You might have seen the footage and photographs from that incredible event. Saying I was surprised to be asked couldn’t be more of a understatement I was shocked totally shocked but incredibly honoured. Luxury Promise is the kind of company I have always wanted to work with, when I set out creating this blog I always hoped that I would be able to work with brands I love and to discover new brands and companies that I would love. On the 13th of June the LP event was held at the sleek Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge which conveniently houses the LP office and showroom. The LP showroom is what I like to call my dream closet. There are Birkin bags lining the shelves and beautiful vintage chanel bags calling my name beneath them and behind a glass cabinet rare pieces of Chanel, Hermes and Van cleef jewellery sitting in their boxes waiting to be discovered or rediscovered I suppose. Lastly and this is my favourite I am a magpie after all lies pretty pink boxes hiding beautiful diamond rings. Flawless top grade diamonds, diamonds so well priced less than the price of high street diamonds from a certain company most of us know. A company I have a few pieces from which I now regret and wished Luxury Promise had been around back when I started to buy all my rings. If you read my last article on LP you will know that my plan for this year was to start a diamond ring stacking collection. Well I have just got my first one and the quality is amazing. Being a self confessed magpie and diamond addict their beautiful eternity rings really caught my eye at that first event I went to. I can happily declare that I am well and truly smitten with LP & the lovely chatty Sabrina. Next on my list is a couple more diamond stacking rings and a certain Chanel reissue which I found during one of my recent app stalking missions.
