This July I attended a makeup master class with the brand Trinny London. The masterclass was hosted at the bargainistas paradise Bicester Village just outside of Oxford. Those who have read my blog for a while might remember I wrote all about my adventures there back in April. It’s always fun to visit Bicester and most of my adventures there leave me out of pocket most certainly and well usually broke but I must mention always happy. This visit however I kept my wallet firmly padlocked in my trusty LV Capucines and kept my eyes adverted down so not to get hypnotised by any of the bags. ‘Hi I am Sarah I love bags.’ Hot & caffeine craving we wandered to the apartment Bicester’s very own shoppers haven. We ordered coffees and water and wandered into the main room.We were greeted with a long table which was laid out with the prettiest mini pots of colours. Eye bases lipsticks, glosses cheek colours, contours & my current weapon of choice the fabulous BFF cream Trinny London’s cult product. Lily who runs the social media side of Trinny London told me ‘we sold out of the BFF cream once and received hate mail, and harassing phone calls ’ (I have since learnt for myself it is just that good.) Intrigued I mentally made a note to remind myself to have a play after the masterclass finished. But actually I didn’t need to because I was asked to be one of the makeup models during the masterclass. We sat in the front row & I was asked if I wanted to be a model (knowing this opportunity will most likely never present its self again.) Excited I braved the make up remover and took off my makeup and walked hesitantly to the front of the room. Cha Cha (Charlotte who has the best brows I have ever seen) is the very cool head MUA of Trinny London she used her magic makeup wand and transformed me. Using the BFF cream to perfect my skin my colour is dark medium a touch of foundation/concealer in Yas incase you are wondering and a couple of the magic creamy pots eye, cheek, lip. Easily useable click pots of golden natural shimmery goodness and that day they turned me into a fancier version of myself. It was so quick and easy. A look I have since created myself since. I am wearing BFF as my spf/light base foundation. A touch of concealer in YAS on my eyes eye colour in Wisdom & Empress mixed together. Contour cheekbones in Kate. Lastly on my lips and cheeks lip/cheek colour in Phoebe. The concept behind Trinny London is ingenious. Forget traveling or rummaging around your makeup bag or draws all you need is the BFF perfector foundation a mascara and 4-5 (depending on your look for the day) click pots. The packaging is so pretty easily stackable perfect for grabbing and going. Each stack come with a empty container for you to decamp your BFF cream in for the week or that day for mid day touch ups did I mention that it has SPF 30 (so suncream sorted, Trinny London has got you covered) and it has no flashback so great in the evenings too. This travel pouch/clutch is free with the purchase of 7 or more products while stocks last. Or sold separately. I had the honour of speaking to Trinny herself this past week. And what really stood out for me about Trinny and her team is that they are a happy solid unit, they all care about each other like one multi layered family. Each product has a name and what you might not know is that these names are derived from people that matter to Trinny and her team. Trinny spoke about female unity and empowerment. The faces of the brand are all real women. Women like you and me not stereotypical models just women who radiate beauty and happiness. Hard working business women, mothers sisters grandmothers from all walks of life. Trinny spoke about solidarity how her girlfriends and her family are so precious to her. I loved hearing her stories about why she named certain products after those close to her. I could feel the honesty and warmth radiate from her. Another element I loved is that the Trinny team mostly all have products named after them too. Trinny London is not just any old brand it’s a family a strong unit. They love their products and they believe in their products and now I am a believer too. And a very proud member of the Trinny Tribe. Come and join me it’s lovely here they have the best perfector foundation magic cream on the market. But be warned once you try it nothing else compares.
