6 things I loved in July

This month has been all about self healing positivity and eating all the cake. Diet what diet as a good friend reminded me yesterday life is for living and coffee & cake make me happy so rest assured fellow cake addicts I haven’t given up on my tasty friend just yet. I am still trying to exercise but I am just going to embrace my curves and live a little. I hope you all love my monthly favourites this month as much as me. If there is one thing you need it’s the skin perfector/foundation good skin in a bottle trust me I am a foundation junkie.

BFF Skin Perfector

Let’s kick this off with the thing I have been loving the most this month. The incredible skin perfector from Trinny London. (Blog post coming soon….as in next week) I have been using this religiously every single day. When friends loved ones my Instagram fam or even lovely people off the street (yes I have been asked about my foundation by a random lady in Harrods last week) I tell them this stuff is incredible. It goes on like a moisturiser hydrating yet lightly mattifying with a pretty fresh scent and then wham the white colour reacts with your skin creating that perfect natural coloured smooth base I love and need and sorry for being bossy but you all need it to. This thing of wonder is called the BFF skin perfector and I can tell you all without a shadow of a doubt this is my new BFF. So if you buy one thing this new month let it be this and you can all thank me later. You have to try this seriously its a game changer this is the link.

Chanel Hand Cream

When Chanel launched this new egg shaped hand cream I wasn’t sold. Chanel is a classic timeless brand and this new cream well just looked a bit too space age to me and who spends nearly £50 on a hand cream certainly not me or so I thought. But being me a a shopaholic & a sucker for a hyped up beauty product. I had to give this a try. So while visiting the Chanel boutique in London I gave it a little sniff ooooh I said to no one in particular it passed the sniff test and then I tried it on and wow. Not only does it look beautiful and yes it smells beautiful to, but what’s really important is how it feels on. It’s rich and hydrating it has hylaronic acid which has the equivalent of a thousand drops of water in every drop. So not just hydrating super hydrating. It also looks great in a flatlay photo (Prioritise radiators, priorities.)I found it in stock here

Charlotte Tilbury Face powder

OK honestly this is a re-discovered Favorite for me I have had this for a while maybe a year. When I first got it I used it relentlessly all my other powders were left out in the cold sadly sitting in my makeup drawer gathering dust and then one day I put it down and I forgot about it. I know I am fickle. In the beginning of July while out with a friend reapplying our makeup in a poorly lit bathroom in some random bar in London. I noticed a golden glimmer in her hand. It was the CT pressed powder and like a spell had been lifted I rediscovered the magic that is this pretty gold compact. Sorry for the long intro I do like to set the tone. I use this mainly dusted under my eyes to set my under eye concealer along my nose and on the side of my nose. I love to glow mostly it’s a sweaty glow but I like to think it’s a pretty girly glow. And this powder isn’t to mattifying. If you want to purchase this magic powder you can find it here.

Atkinson London Mint & Tonic

A few weeks ago I visited Atkinsons London in the pretty Burlington Arcade for the launch of their new scent Mint and Tonic. Think a fresh summers eve the wind is blowing you can smell the wild mint growing, scenting the air and that crisp scent of tonic just fizzing ready to be added to your glass decanter. Fresh scents are what summers are made of and this is the freshest. It takes over a year to perfect each of their beautiful individual perfumes and hearing all about the history of Atkinsons London and learning about the perfume making process has given me a new found appreciation of the art of perfume making. I have been using Mint & Tonic everyday even if I am just working from home especially during the long hot summer we have been having as it’s so refreshing. The packaging is classically British and the bottle is a piece of art. If you are after a fresh scent to last you through summer to Autumn this is definitely worth a consideration even better if you live near a Atkinson outlet go and try this out it’s such a unique scent.  If you are curious to try this you can find it here.

Smart Turnout Watch I love watches that’s probably something that comes as no surprise to most of you. Bags and watches and rings I love them all. I love that feeling of being adorned with items on my hands and wrists and when I don’t wear a watch I feel naked. I had a problem I have a few nice watches and sometimes I just want to be understated a bit more casual and so I have been searching for a watch brand that is 1. Good quality 2. Inexpensive 3. Looks cool. So when my friend Lew told me about Smart Turnout I had to go and try one on. The beauty of this brand is that the straps are interchangeable I have two versions a white one and now a cameo style. Both are chic the white looks really elegant understated and the cameo is my cool girl version it takes me back to my art student days of being fancy free in my denim cutoffs and my I Love NY t-shirts (I had a few no judgment please!) If you are looking for a watch from an independent watch company & one that not everyone has for a great price than I would highly recommend you check out their website here.

Chanel classic WOC

I have rediscovered my love for the Wallet on chain or as its widely known the WOC I have found myself reaching for my Chanel WOC more often than any other bag throughout July. It’s just so easy to wear. Perfect for the supermarket run or quick business lunches & even for nights out. The WOC style will always be one of my favourite style of bags. So in true Sarah style I have written another WOC post which will be coming soon.

So there we go another month another bunch of items for you to all spend your cash on. Thank you for reading and seriously get the foundation.

This is not a sponsored post I did not receive anything for writing this and if I ever do I will always tell you.  X
